In the fall of 2010 Nathan Allen joined HiAllen for a podcast on the topic of cranking. Since then the crack podcast has been hosted by Nathan. Specializing in climbing footwear for over 12 years, Nathan has had hands-on knowledge to help educate would be climbers on the most effective styles. He is a frequent contributor of content to Rock and Ice Magazine and the author of The Climbing Weightless: Astrophysics for Rock Climbers. Although he is based in Seattle he is an avid ice climber and has competed in TTR events since the 80's.
As the creator of HiAllen and host of the crack podcast Nathan Allen would like to welcome you to the HiAllen community. The goal of HiAllen is to provide you with accurate, informative, and enjoyable content to help grow your skills and knowledge in the sport of climbing. To help do this Jason Redasch, Jon Ingles, and the rest of the HiAllen team do the vast majority of the technical and content-related work. They are tireless professionals and it is amazing what they have been able to accomplish with HiAllen. In this spirit, HiAllen is built upon the expertise and knowledge of these individuals who wish to help climbers and the industry as a whole. Everything HiAllen produces is created out of true passion and dedication to the climbing community.
