The album debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 127,000 copies in the United States. The album has been certified gold by the RIAA and platinum by the BPI. The album peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart, and was certified platinum by the BPI. The album is sold in over 22 million copies worldwide[14][15] and has sold an estimated 3.5 million copies in the US.[16]

The Red Light District was commercially successful, selling over 2.2 million copies within its first week of release, and was one of the few albums to be certified Gold in less than one month since The Marshall Mathers LP in 2000.

The album features guest appearances from such rappers as T.I., G-Unit, 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Rick Ross, and Ludacris' then-girlfriend, singer Ciara, while Meek Mill makes an appearance on the album as well.

In 2011, Ludacris performed at the BET Honors music award show. He was nominated for the award for Best Male Hip Hop Artist. During his performance, the show was interrupted by a man who took the stage and attempted to attack Ludacris.[16][17] The man was tackled by security, and was arrested the following day.[18]

We'll Still Be Talking is the fifth studio album by American rapper Ludacris. This is his first album not to be released on Atlantic Records, his previous album was released on that label. It was released on November 21, 2005, and was eventually certified gold by the RIAA.

Ludaversal is a mixtape by Ludacris which was released in November 2004. It was the first official album released by Ludacris after he left Disturbing tha Peace and their parent label, Atlantic Records, after being signed to Def Jam Recordings in 2003. Ludaversal was released on November 29, 2004.[15]

An unfinished version of the mixtape was leaked online on November 3, 2004. The leaked version was later removed from the internet. (A sample of the leaked file is still available at file sharing websites.)
