The members of Shinee were awarded their first music show wins on Mnet's M! Countdown on November 6, 2010, when they performed the title track for Lucifer. The next day, they won the Best Male Group Performance Award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards, thus becoming the first male artist to win the award in five years.[46] The group was nominated for the best artist award in the first Golden Disc Awards.[47] On December 13, 2010, Shinee released their third full-length Korean studio album, The First, which became their first number one album on the Gaon Album Chart.[48] The album was also commercially successful, selling over 240,000 copies.[48] On December 24, 2010, the group was awarded Artist of the Year at the 2010 Cyworld Digital Music Awards.[49] On December 27, 2010, the members of Shinee won the Best New Artist award at the Korean Entertainment Arts Awards.[50] On January 21, 2011, Shinee won their first music show win on SBS Inkigayo, when they performed the title track for Lucifer.[51][52][53] On June 30, 2011, the group was awarded Best Artist at the 2011 Global K-Pop Awards.[54] In October 2011, Shinee were invited to perform at the No. 1 Concert, a benefit concert for the victims of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.[55] On January 29, 2012, Shinee were awarded the Best Male Group prize at the 2012 Korean Entertainment Arts Awards.[56] On November 21, 2012, the group won the Best Dance Performance award at the 9th Mnet Asian Music Awards. The SHINee World tour took place in Sacramento, St. Louis, Seattle, San Francisco and Anaheim. I was lucky enough to take some time off from work and head to the first show held at the California Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento on April 15, 2015. I was very excited to attend a SHINee show and that I couldn't wait to share my thoughts with you guys.
